Basic level and JSS

The El Shaddai International School at Klikor is also founded by David Kporfor. The school started out in 1991 with one class consisting of 9 students but has grown to become a well-known school in the area, consisting of a Nursery, Kindergarten, a Primary school and Junior High School. All together, El Shaddai has around 600 students. A new school building has been on the outskirts of Klikor has been built during 2008-2009. This building currently consist of 5 classrooms which is not sufficient to house all the students. More classrooms are under construction. This project is caried out by a Dutch Foundation, Stichting Bouwen (www.stichtingbouwen.nl) and sponsored by another Dutch Foundation, Stichting Plan Afrika (www.stichtingplanafrika.nl). The children living in Friends Home attend El Shaddai until they finish the JHS-programme. After passing their JHS exam, they are sponsored into Senior High Schools, where they usually live in a boardinghouse.
